Rosacea treatment and factors affecting rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic disease and even medical science has no permanent cure for it. As there is no cure to it, one can control or eliminate the indications. Rosacea is commonly found in women then men and in the age of 30 – 60 years of age. As the disease progresses it forms small bumps on the face with redness, the skin thickens with burning and itching sensation. It this is left untreated, pus may be formed in the bumps with lobulated nose.
Rosacea can also affect eyes, itchiness, dryness, burning, and granular sensation. This condition needs proper rosacea treatment or there are chances of loosing vision or the eyesight. Some of the common rosacea treatment include laser therapy, light therapy, antibiotic and topical medications. These treatments do not affect the root cause but reduces the symptoms, which is of great help as it gives a great relief.
As there is no permanent cure to it the best way to cure this disease is to avoid the causing factors. In a survey it was found that the common factors affecting rosacea are sunlight, spicy foods, emotional stress, cosmetics, beverages, hot weather, cold conditions, alcohol, dairy products, certain medicines and many more.
